The passion for jewellery began early for Stephan Mac Lafferty. His grandmother, herself a jeweler, left a lasting impression with her craftsmanship and attention to detail. What started as a fascination grew into a lifelong love for the craft.

 

After gaining experience at a diamond merchant, Stephan, together with his wife Alena, opened Mac Lafferty’s first store in Brussegem in 1996. From the very beginning, craftsmanship, quality, and personal service were at the heart of their work. A few years later, a second Mac Lafferty store opened in Ninove, offering customers a wide selection of renowned brands.

 

In Brussegem, the focus is primarily on custom creations: unique, tailor-made jewelry designed with care and attention to the story behind each piece. From wedding rings marking a new chapter to pieces created from old gold with emotional value, every design carries a piece of history.

 

Today, Rein, the son of Stephan and Alena, is also part of Mac Lafferty. With the same dedication and love for the craft, he continues the family tradition. Together, they create jewellery that not only shines but also carries lasting meaning for those who wear it.
